I love playing with the 3DS, so I'm getting all the games I still want for the system, but going back to the Wii U is such an annoying experience, that the only reason I'm even thinking about buying additional games for it is the fear those games will never be rereleased in one way or another. Now I just need to decide, if I really want to buy the five downloadable Wii games that are still on my wishlist. I checked it as well today and mine is a Samsung. If it dies, it dies, and nothing of value was lost. I'm not really concerned for my launch day WiiU one way or the other.

The only well built part of the whole console was the Pro Controller, with its amazing battery life, and sticks that hold up even today. The anemic on board storage and cheap quality of the materials used for the housing and finish to both console and Gamepad are the cherry on top of the shit sundae. Their insistence on keeping that Gamecube Derived Power PC in there, coupled with the ridiculous power draw limits they imposed on themselves. It was slow, cumbersome and severly underpowered, even moreso than Nintendos usual conservative hardware specs. The WiiU was an outdated POS the day it released. I'll give the 360 and the PS3 (which eventually suffered a lot of debilitating hardware problems a bit later down the road) more slack, since both came in burning hot with amazing specs and tech for their power envelope.
